Blowing past a stop sign

Have you even blown past a stop sign?

Maybe your body was giving you a signal to stop & slow down, maybe the Universe was making something really challenging, or maybe you found yourself pushing up against the boundary of a friend or loved on but you pushed on regardless (or maybe with even more conviction.)

Sometimes we think we know best and we overrule these signals & signs (I am particularly skilled at ignoring the “That’s enough now” signs from my body!)

Sometimes we’re afraid to stop because it means having to change course, to let something go, or maybe stopping means we have to admit we pushed too far.

Stop signs are there for a reason. Whether we take any notice of them is a choice.
